Cellar. This is divided into three parts. Area 1 at the bottom of the stairs. Area 2 chilled room with barrels
Area 3 the small store room at the back.
Area 1...Team 1. A small area about 20' x 15' with a door at the far end leading in to the spirits locker another door into the barrel room. In this area nothing and no one sensed anything strange. Calling out for any spirit/astral beings was suggested and began with Gary first calling out followed by Kim, members of staff then Vince but all had little success with still photographs. what looks like small anomaly was captured on video but not very clear and needs further examination. Gary picked up on the name of GEORGE / GEORGIE.
Area 2 Team 1.. A seance was conducted with all members of the team
taking part. Vince had the names TRACY, VICTOR/VICTORY, and what
seemed to be the letters SS as well as a uniform and a possible NAVEL connection.
Gary still had a strong feeling of the name GEORGE and wanted to stand with his legs bent in a strange manner. Vince also stated that Garys face changed and showed more sharp features with some disfigurement to the left side as if there had been a stroke. and his chin
was quite pointy. at the end Angie and Peter felt tickled on the face in the same place
at the same time.
Team 2.. No results came from the short seance so the team decided to separate and stand
in various positions of the chilled area. Carl became disorientated and short of breath. this lead
to believe it was the same spirit which he picked up on earlier
Area 3.. Team 1.. Team 1 found this area calm with no sensation whatsoever.
Team 2.. Again team 2 conducted a seance and when asked for anything Ray said he had a very strong feeling of the name TOM. Tony felt as if his shoulders were being pushed down and Ray felt he wanted to sit on the floor as if being pushed down.!!!
Tony also said he got the impression of a gentleman with a long drawn face ( sharp features ).
he said that this man was dressed in a black jacket and trousers with gold buttons and a black hat.
possibly cromwell era, and the name WILLIAM CORNEL.
Other sensations within the cellars were a hand on Roses shoulder and strange feeling in her feet Tony feeling that of his elbows being tickled
Tony picked up on someone hanging and the group through discussion all agreed that this was
plausible due the the experiences of individuals, Carls shortness of breath, the pushing down
on Tony and Rays shoulders and the sensation in Roses feet.
It was common practice during a hanging for someone to stand on the persons shoulders
or hang onto their feet.
Team 1.. The team conducted a glass movement test. this proved slow and only the letter G seemed to come up.
maybe this was GEORGE/GEORGIE and even the GEORGINA was mentioned but still proved fruitless.
The team then decided to try a new experiment involving a crystal pendulum inside a glass bowl. no air / breath was able to move this. each placed one hand upon the table and asked for the spirit to move the pendulum.
The pendulum did move slightly side to side and when asked to make circles slowly changed to produce a small circle motion. Was this the spirit, we do not know but was very strange indeed.
Team 2.. the team started with a seance in one area of the bar but gave little success so it was suggested that
they might have more success with glass movement, Norma suggested they move into the main bar area for this.
The glass moved very slow and in a jolting fashion as if it was stuck on something. When asked to spin the glass
round in a circle the glass began to rotate on the spot. The letter C was indicated. which lead to Charles An orb was captured on film flying towards the camera, and during a break Carl was sitting on a chair opposite the cellar door. He then asked Tony to make a note that he sensed someone had died of throat cancer. Carl also commented on a hanging. !!

Vince and Gary went back down into the cellar for one last vigil. they both went into the spirits store room
and both attempted to call for orbs but both had little success, but it was here that vince began to get pains in the back of his teeth, shortly after gary too felt pain in the same area. " Coincedence, possibly "
Both moved onto the back store room, it was here that they heard the sound of someone coming into the
the first area of the cellar, Gary went to see who was coming but was stopped by vince to see who comes in. After a while when no one appeared they went to have a look. Nobody had come in. Carl Tony and Ray also decided to take one more vigil in the cellar. as they walked around Carl got the same strange feeling as before, It was then suggested by Ray to check out the back store one last time. After a few minutes of calling and listening the team heard distinctive sounds of someone coming into the stair area, Tony quickly turned around as if someone was behind him. the team waited a while to see who came through the doorway, they then decided to check it out and upon investigation found that Nobody was in the area at all.
While upstairs in the bar area vince walked over to where the equipment was kept, he got to the
two steps where the games machine are kept the same pain in his teeth occured. Seconds later
a whining was heard and thought it to be the EMF meter, but this was found to be switched off.
Later vince found that the whining was coming from a free ion detector, something this has never done before.....this is the first time that machine has indicated anything..........Where was this............. directly over the spirit locker.
In separate teams Gary and Rose both got the name George but there was nothing in Norma's notes.
Vince had the name Victor or victory. a uniform with a navel connection. Norma confirmed there was a navel connection and that somebody
had brought the bell from the ship and is hung behind the bar. only at this time did the team know of this and its where abouts.
The letter C was came up in the glass movement. This lead to the name of Charles. Norma confirms that a previous owner was infact
Charles Coborn.
Carls mention of someone who frequented the pub and died of throat cancer. Norma confirmed this too but was not sure if it was of the throat.
Also Tony's mention of a Hanging. Again Norma confirmed this.
and Tony kept repeating that legs were significant. Norma produced this picture, Notice the strange stance with bent legs.
Tony said that the gentleman was wearing a black jacket / trousers and hat.
again Charles Coborn is wearing just that. even though cromwell era was stated
did Tony actually get two spirits.
Ray got the strong feeling of a person called TOM. Norma once again confirmed a Thomas.
