WALTON HALL MUSEUM

November saw the PSI team venture to essex to carry out their investigation at Walton hall museum. This night proved to be a very very cold evening indeed and due to this the team decided that on this occassion it was pointless in carrying out any baseline recordings.

THE ART ROOM

During the glass movement experiment the team picked up on a male spirit which gave the name of BARRY,  who was from the second world war and possibly a pilot,  or something to do with the ground crew. At one stage the team did think that we may have had two spirits coming through. The spirit of Barry said that he had committed suicide by shooting himself in the head because he was heatbroken after his girlfriend had left him.  While conducting this experiment we all heard what seemed to be a plane fly over, the sound was not of the typical jet or airline but what would have been heard in a " war " film. Vince then said sounded like a spitfire ! .this was followed by two dull thuds, the sound that exploding bombs would have made. Gary, Carl and Vince all had trouble with their words when trying to ask questions, a bit like a stuuter.  Did the spirirt have a stutter when he was alive !! Taps and bangs were recorded at the right times when questions had been asked and Carl complained of chest pains which subsided once he left the area.

THE MAIN MUSEUM

In this area the team produced very little.  This time it was Vince who started to get pains in the chest but this was also accompanied by pains in the left eye. and a spirit about the age of 40 was picked up but this time no names were mentioned. Again members had trouble with their words and thought maybe that the spirit of Barry had followed them into this area. could it have been that the pains in Vinces left eye be the place that " Barry " shot himself in the head. ( maybe ). Gary seemed to loose his balance when going to leave the table but believe that this had no paranormal connection

It seems on this night the only orbs captured were within this area and due to the very cold and damp condions rules out dust particules

The Bakery

The whole team felt the atmosphere pleasant and at ease, after spending approximately 25 minutes in the area decided to move on

The nursery

Conducting a seance within the nusery Vince kept getting the Somme war and the name William but dismissed this as it  could have been related to to his Father. While asking out for spirits to come forward Vince could see Gary's face transfigure into another mans and at the same time Carl could see a shadowy figure standing just behind him  wearng a bowler hat, and  the intials "W" and "C". but was unsure if this had any connection .  A second dark figure was seen to move out then back again by the door that enters the room but no features could be seen.

In the early hours of the morning it was decided to end the investigation and to talk with the proprietors on the evenings findings. It was confirmed that various other reports of a pilot ( art room ) had been recorded. along with Vince's mention of the somme war. The team was shown a picture of man reported to be a game keeper, this game keeper was wearing a bowler hat, could this have been the same spirit that was seen by Carl in the nursery. Another picture was shown of a family and that the gentlman standing second from the right is a man called " WILLIAM CLARK ".  So was this the same  W. C. that Carl picked up on,  again in the nursery. And was this the William that Vince had mentioned shortly before. The strange thing is that PSI was told that it is believed the game  keeper ( wearing bowler hat ) and the gentleman in the family photograph is in fact the same person.  " WILLIAM CLARK."

PSI found the venue a very intersting one indeed and believe it deserves a second visit and would like to thank Sean for allowing us access to their lovely museum which has some very interesting features. The museum would make a great day out for the family to visit where you can step back in time and see how people lived and worked years gone by, you can even make some bread in the bakery.
